Anne Breckenridge Barrett - Director of the Center for Creative Photography

Anne Breckenridge Barrett is a cultural professional with over twenty-four years of focused expertise in museums, non-profit management, and the law. She is a leader in the areas of collections management, exhibition organization, and strategic work for social impact. She is an attorney with broad experience in a range of settings including a large law firm, the Arizona Attorney General’s office, and a variety of non-profits serving in professional and volunteer capacities.
 
 
Breckenridge Barrett joins the Center from the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, where she served as Director of Collections and Exhibitions. Among her many accomplishments, she helped shepherd and produce landmark exhibitions including David Bowie Is, Kerry James Marshall: Mastry, and the recent Takashi Murakami: The Octopus Eats Its Own Leg
 
Anne is an active leader in the museum community having strong relationships with curators, artists, collection managers, exhibition directors, and educators, throughout the country and around the world. She presents at annual conferences and universities on a range of topics. She was on the steering committee of the North American Exhibition Organizers, a member of the Museum Attorney Group of the American Legal Institute, and served on the College Art Association’s Fair Use Chicago Committee. Anne is an alumna of the Getty Leadership Institute Fellow and completed the prestigious residency alongside thirty three other museum leaders. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in art history from American University, a Master of Arts in visual arts administration from New York University, and a Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School.
 
At home Anne can be found in the desert of Tucson, Arizona. Her joy is derived from her husband and children along with healthy doses of design, music, yoga, and hiking.

I hear there is a pool?
There is, however, there was some red tape with lifeguards that we weren't able to cut. 
No pool this time around. Apologies. 
 
How much are tickets?
$20 for adults
$5 for children 12 and under
 
What is included?
BBQ Lunch, Live Band, Dance Lessons, Face Painting and Clown for the kiddos, agua
 
But Chad, are there beverages?
Ya you betcha. Beer and wine only $4. There's also soda pop for $1
 
But why? What's this mixer for?
Remember when District 5500 used to have mixers? They were great! Pantano Rotary Club wants to see the clubs in District 5500 get together to celebrate Rotary and our District accomplishments but also to have a chance to discuss the things we're working on, to encourage participation and collaboration between our clubs, are really, just to see those Rotarians we've become friends with and don't get to see frequently enough.
